What do you remember about seeing your first fake flower? What did it look like? How old were you? Was it cheap, crusty, and over-saturated with color? These are some common memories that come to mind when we recall our first experiences with fake flowers.
Needless to say, fake flowers have been around a long time and they've been given a bad reputation. But just like you and I, they've grown and matured to keep up with the modern times.
Let's talk about 7 myths about faux flowers, and how they stand up to the stereotypes we've assigned them!

Myth #1: They're Outdated and Tacky
In the last 20 years, faux flowers have gone from zero to hero. Today's modern technology has made it possible to transform faux flowers into high-quality pieces of art. They've now found a place at luxury wedding venues, trendy restaurants, and homes across the world.
Some florists seek out faux florals for installations that would be difficult to manage in fresh, allowing for more creativity and coverage.
Myth #2: They Don't Photograph Well
When faux flowers debuted their recent glow-up, all they needed was a camera to prove they hold a candle (or should I say stamen) to their fresh counterparts. I present to you, Exhibit A. For more proof, visit our gallery! 😉

Myth #3: They're Cheap
While you might still be able to find those $1 deals at select stores, the faux flowers worth investing in come with a steeper price tag! Our floral arrangements incorporate hundreds of real touch flowers that are designed to be as lifelike as possible. In some instances, one real touch flower can cost upward of $15 per stem!
Myth #4: They Sound Fake and Look Stiff
Fake flowers have ditched the crinkly paper and bright colors for premium silicone materials and color-matched stems, petals, and leaves. This upgrade allows for lifelike movement, especially when placed in a breezy setting!
Myth #5: You Can Buy Them Anywhere and Get the Same Result
Many craft stores have updated their supply of faux flowers to help their DIY crowd take their projects to the next level. Yet, some of the highest quality faux flowers are reserved for wholesalers that can only sell to businesses. So, while a quick DIY faux flower bouquet isn't impossible by any means, you won't always get the best materials to worth with. This is why the faux floral businesses can be a great resource to find your dream floral arrangement for a more affordable price.

Myth #6: They're Not Sustainable
When rented or reused, faux flowers are an eco-friendly alternative to single-use fresh florals that are thrown out after one day. We have proudly used our rentals for dozens of events this year and plan on using them for many more to come!
Myth #7: Their Colors are Limited
Because of the manufacturing process, faux flowers offer more flexibility than fresh ones. They’re not limited by season, climate, or fragility, so you can design with any flower, in any color, all year-round. While we love fresh flowers, their sensitivity and seasonality are a hassle that we're perfect fine without.
